Okay, so not a new fueltank, but only new fuelpump and filter and a good cleaning of the fueltank.
I'm curious if we will also get that same recall here in Europe.

Hopefully you get a good one!

Wouldn't it be better so clean the fueltank instead of a new one? Apperently there are still the same issues these days, Honda hasn't solved the problem yet.

My CRF1100 ES ATAS DCT is I think from the first production batch, mid 2019 (dealer registration date 11-2019, stayed on the dealersfloor for 6 months, and I bought the bike in june 2020 with 0km on the clock), 6700km on the clock now and so far no issues (knock on wood).
I looked into the fueltank with a videoscope and saw some white colors on the welds, but like I said no issues so far. Hopefully it stays that way because I love the rest of the bike especially the DCT.

Wrote it in english but it translated in dutch

But I find it strange that after the March 2020 production date there are still problems with the fuel tank, the same as before, where as Honda claims, "Honda has implemented a campaign to improve fuel tank cleaning mid-production (March 6, 2020)" .

I read somewhere that after productiondate 03-2020 Honda did something with these fueltanks in the productionline and should not give any problems anymore, but apperently not if a 07-2020 still give issues........

Well, I think if you put 10kg (DCT system weight) near the right side of the engine on a non DCT version, you definitely going to feel it.
